Liz Buckley, Executive Director

Liz has worked at FOCUS since 2003

as Executive Assistant, Community Organizer, and Development Director. Effective January 1, 2010, Liz serves as FOCUS' Executive Director. Liz has extensive community and nonprofit experience, organizing Lake Apopka farmworkers to address health concerns related to pesticide exposure and environmental contamination, providing services for low-income families in Atlanta, and directing a summer camp for inner-city youth.  Liz has a B.A. in Philosophy from Boston College, and an M.A. in International Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame.   Liz has spent time in the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Ireland, Nepal, and India, and in her spare time, chases her 2 toddler children.

Raul B. Odetti, Community Organizer

Raul has worked for FOCUS since 2002...

He has a degree on Political Science and Public Administration from Universidad Nacional de Rosario - Argentina.  Raul worked with Catholic Charities before becoming an organizer.  When not organizing, he can be found playing Guitar Hero-Rockband with his son. 

Claudine Tomlinson-Burney, Communications Manager

Claudine joined the FOCUS team September 2009...

She comes from a strong communications background and has more than 10 years broadcasting experience. Claudine obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Communications with a major in Broadcast Journalism from Florida International University - Miami, Fl. She has worked as a reporter, producer and assignment editor. Before joining FOCUS, Claudine worked as Television Traffic Coordinator for Public Broadcasting Station, WMFE-TV. She is currently working on her Masters in Communications Management. In her spare time, Claudine and her husband Richard enjoy watching movies, visiting family and cruising the high seas.
